confirmed, not just transparency but actual lighting values.
Partially due to how they are now work when placed in frames.
I am guessing that it is a bug that was created when they released the "b" version of the snapshot. Doesn't seem intentional, not present in the "a" release. Maybe they changed something in the rendering when fixing "[Bug MC-35642] – Wobble shader broken"?
