[MC-36080] All Blocks become invisible.

All the blocks and inventory items become invisible as soon as I use the numbers on my keyboard to select items in my hotbar. To get rid of it I have to totally reboot Minecraft or by pressing F3+S. Mostly seems to happen when holding a non-solid block in hand.

To reproduce:
1- Get into any world in minecraft.
2- Select non-solid block in hand (ex.torch, flower,ladder).

Can not reproduce. Might be a graphics card problem.

i am having the same issue and it happens with stained glass,lava blocks, and on some server instantly upon login + (ex.torch, flower,ladder).
