[MC-36127] after a few minutes of playing on the world, everything goes black except a few items, such as chests and signs

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought everything was running normally.

What actually happened was...:
After a few minutes, things went black.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Not sure, but I think it's when I tried to put something new in my inventory

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) in MC-35881.
