Anvil text is sometimes white and unreadable

When using an anvil (or chest or (I expect) a crafting bench and furnace etc) there is an odd text glitch, brightening and bolding the text when anywhere above the inventory hot bar.

UPDATE FOR 1.7.1: Ok, Anvil text is now fixed but in a chest the glitch has been altered strangely. When there is nothing in your inventory, the glitch still happens. When there is, it is completely fine!! See below

Ok, Anvil text is now fixed but in a chest the glitch has been altered strangely. When there is nothing in your inventory, the glitch still happens. When there is, it is completely fine!!
