Slimes that suffocate to death drop experience orbs, even though you didn't kill them, but you can't collect the experience. It just flies around your head indefinitely.

I've tried to reproduce this, but only saw 1 xp orb which I was able to collect, and I can't be certain that I didn't hit the slime at some point giving me credit.
Unable to reproduce. Did this occur in SMP?
