[MC-399] Multiplayer - TAB player list doesnt work

Join a multiplayer server with lots of players online and press TAB to see the player list.

The list is empty. =(

Found the bug! Set max-players to 128 or more and the TAB list wont work. 127 works though, yaaay =)))))

Also working fine here. Is the server you are connecting to vanilla and updated to 1.4.2?

Your minecraft is modded and that player list looks fine. Also, how is this working as intended?

I can confirm for 1.5 when having a ridiculously high player count (ie. 1000 or something) that the list fails to show up properly (as in it's just a single, empty black sqaure).
