[MC-40545] Can't stream on Twitch and getting no message, what to do

When I want to start streaming the game says: "Not ready to start streaming yet." But it doesn't give me any tip, what I should do.

I am also getting this behavior presently. I linked my account last night and it shows linked in my account settings on account.mojang.com.

At this point the only thing that stands out to me is that the last 6 stream servers do not appear to be connecting.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

Okay, I closed out and re-opened minecraft and that seems to have done the trick for me.
