Minecraft doesn't recognize that I'm on Mac OsX Lion, no broadcasting

I opened up Minecraft and saw that the new snapshot was out. I clicked Options and clicked "Broadcast Settings" and it told me that I wasn't on Mac OsX Lion (10.7) even though the Finder told me that I was in Mac OsX Lion (10.7.5). If you would be kind enough to fix this, I would appreciate it. I kind-of want to get to recording Minecraft on Twitch without software 😃
