[Mac] "Streaming requires OSX 10.7+" while I am at 10.7.5

Minimum Requirements Correction

The actual requirements for Twitch.tv streaming is MacOS 10.8, the error message is incorrect at this time.

When I am trying to stream Minecraft to twitch on my Mac, I am told I need to upgrade to version 10.7 or higher. But I AM on 10.7.5. My Minecraft account is correctly linked to Twitch. For my specs see the "Environment" tab.

Same problem for me. I have a Mac with OSX 10.7.5 Lion.

I'm currently downloading Mavericks. Does anyone think it's going to make any difference?

I'm also on 10.7.5 and getting the message saying that I need 10.7 or higher to stream.

"It seems requirements for streaming are: Mac: 10.8/10.9 (64bit only) and Windows: Vista/7/8 (32 or 64bit). We were told '>=' and not '>' 😃"

MacOS 10.8 Required.

I assume they will be updating the message, so leaving this open for the time being.

10.8 and higher only. Free updates available! though it has problems for some people on 10.9 too now (reported to Twitch)
