Issue with twitch streaming on Nvidia Geforce 740m

While testing out twitch streaming on my computer, the fps halved and was nearly unplayable. I confirmed that it was an issue with just the Nvidia GPU in my laptop, which is an nvidia geforce 740m 2gbs graphics card. Also my CPU is an Intel Core i7 quad core at 2.4ghz

When I switched the GPU to the Intel integrated graphics it ran as smooth as the Intel graphics would allow and no halving of the fps. Meaning I got better performance with Integrated then the dedicated card.
