I summoned a giant with the command /summon Giant and after a few minutes (not immediately) the mob dissapeared without me doing anything to it,attacking it or another mob attacking it and killing it(no death animation,only diassapearing from the world).
What i expected:Giant would stay forever in the world
What happened:Giant dissapeared after a few minutes for no reason

ok. Just expected hostile mobs to stay in the world forever.Maybe someone would want to make a slime cube farm...haven't checked other mobs yet...

If you want to keep mobs forever, use nametags.

It's a hostile mob - it can despawn. But Giants are unsupported anyway.
