[MC-41827] Crash when Initializing game

When I try to launch 1.7.2 (latest) or 1.6.4, it crashes. It used to work with 1.6.4 and 1.7.2. (Yet, 1.5.2 and 1.4.7 work though.) No changes made to machine that I know about. Drivers are up to date.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. try to launch 1.7.2 minecraft.
2. See the following:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Initializing game
at azd.a(SourceFile:502)
at azd.Z(SourceFile:340)
at azd.e(SourceFile:689)
at net.minecraft.client.main.Main.main(SourceFile:103)

I do not know if "No OpenGL context found in the current thread." is good or bad.

Drivers are up to date. Rebooted. Still crashes.

Windows never provides the correct drivers for your system. Try searching for drivers from you graphics card manufacturer.

Problem still happens. Should I uninstall the old drivers first? Thoughts?

First, I think it stinks that the status of this ticket was Resolved when the issue was not resolved. Fix your process, please. Add a new status called "no-idea" if needed.

Second, minecraft now works with the latest update 1.7.4. No other settings were changed. So, 1.7.4 release resolved the issue.
