I was making a new world.. when i mined a wood. It re-created for 5 seconds, THEN gave me the wood. It's getting annoying.

• Was this a singleplayer or multiplayer/LAN game?

• Was the issue corrected after logging out and back in?

• Was the issue corrected after reopening Minecraft?

• Are there steps to reproduce?

This may simply be a case of block lag. Without further information it is impossible to tell whether this is a bug that should be fixed or a machine limitations.
