I was trying to join a new server because the old one got a new host anyway I couldn't and a message came up saying: "internal exception: java.IOException: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" please fix this im a head mod on the server and without me the owner and co owner cant control the server's vast amount of players. also when I hover over the connection bar it says the server is out of date!
Thank You

Copied from MC-38565:
"Simply change the server setting "player-idle-timeout" to 0."
Why do I keep seeing diff Mods saying this is the Player Idle timeout... You realize that it spells that out if that was the case...
"You have been Idle for too long!"
That is not the answer to the host connection error. This is a NET Code causing it in the 1.7+ update and is a frustrating bug!
I seem to be getting this error...have vanilla mc and it works fine but bukkit seems to do this...set idle time to ) but still "internal exception: java.IOException: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".....is there a fix
I figured out the bug, apparently it has nothing to do with minecraft. it's a router problem because when I get the exception, literally all internet seems to just shut off. may I ask if everyone whose getting this error is using wifi? in that case it might have something to do with your router itself and nothing to do with the IS
tails the issue that I am apparently duplicating is an afk error he can stay on the server for 20-30 seconds I cant even get on the server thank you for reading this update.
