[MC-42355] Minecraft *refused to start

*Launcher started normally.
The MC launcher simply reappears after "launching" the game. It informs me that this was because of a crash.

Your version of Minecraft is no longer supported. We are currently only accepting bugs found in the official release 1.7.2 and later.

From what I see it looks almost identical to the others.
I remember the dev console reported something about the files being corrupted or of the wrong type. Unfortunately I did not record this information.

I am terribly sorry but seeing as the problem is no longer affecting my game I cannot (work out how to) reproduce the problem. Is there somewhere the outputs are saved? If not, why not!

Most likely some files got corrupted while downloading.
