Just today all of the beacons in my minecraft world start recycling / refreshing very slowly. Normally, once the timer gets to 4 seconds it resets to 8. However, it now seems to be taking 12 seconds, i.e. letting the effect expire and waiting 4 seconds for it to kick in again. Besides the general impact of losing all effects for that time, any speed effect is very disconcerting as your view keeps zooming in and out.
This happens at every base I have a beacon at, just started today. Did a game / java restart, as well as a full system reboot.
I've attached a forced-crash report from my main base.

Tested in brand new creative world (random seed), did not experience. Moved to nether in my world, only 88 entities, single beacon effect (speed II), same results. New crash report attached for the nether version.
I'm working on removing as many of the entities around my main base as possible, esp the pockets of zombies w/ eggs, but as I said I only started noticing the beacon thing this morning. Rare block lag, and a few FPS areas (other issues relating to those reported by others and confirmed), but this area had been safe up until now.
I found a breeder that had run away. Strange though, it was in an unloaded chunk and thus didn't even show up in the crash report. Also still affected the nether.
Go ahead and cancel, appears to have been general world lag showing up in a different way than I was used to.
That's a lot of entities around you... does it happen in an area or new map with fewer mobs?
