[MC-44703] Cannot play at all

I opened up the launcher and it would only say play offline and not show the update notes even though i have an internet connection. When I click play offline it will open up fine and go to the menu. When I click singleplayer it will go fine, but when i click on one of my worlds it will crash and not load the world. when i click multiplayer, it will imediatly take my back to the launcher screen with no error tab or anything.

You're gonna have to provide a better description or something, theses guys don't have all day to try to get the game to crash by opening a single player world up all day. Try recording it with Fraps and linking the recording if it doesn't produce a error log.
