[MC-45882] Villagers don't farm crops [Multiplayer]

The villager on the right will not farm the crop. It has been over 2 or 3 hours since I planted and bonemealed the crop. The villager is close to another villager, but in singleplayer I had two villagers close to eachother and the one on the right did farm the crop.

The server is running the 14w04b snapshot, and my client is running the 14w04b snapshot.

You keep saying villager... trade with them, did you make sure they were farmers?

Doesn't need to be a farmer, just as long as it's a plain brown coat (but yeah it is a farmer)

No, I brought him over from a village using rails (From 14w04 a/b chunks, newly generated)

I have the exact same problem! I've tried even doing /summon Villager ~ ~ ~ {canPickUpLoot:1} and they still won't pick anything up. Also, they don't farm at all. I had this problem in 14w04b and 14w05a

I've been having this problem from 14w05a through 14w08a as well. Villagers that have been summoned via commands, spawn eggs, or found on the map will randomly stop farming or even picking up bread.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w18a / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Uhh.. no this can't be a problem in 1.7.9 because it's a problem with a 1.8 feature that is still in snapshots.
