When in Gamemode Spectator you have a cursor when pointing at animals. You can also mount on the animals but you cannot move your direction while riding the animal.

First is quite obvious: As you can mount entities, wouldn't it be nice to have a cursor to see where you are pointing at?
And second: You can't move the animal nor its view.
