Arrows cannot be selected by /particle

The Arrow is no particle, it's an entity.

no like in
/particle <name> <x> <y> <z> <xd> <yd> <zd> <speed> [count] [player:entity]

it cannot be selected as the [entity]
ex:
/particle lava ~ ~ ~ 1 1 1 1 100 @e[type=Arrow]

will output:
[XX:XX:XX] That entity cannot be found
no matter what.

I had this problem as well.
/particle cannot recognize Arrows as an entity. This does not work as intended.
