The villagers drop random items like bread or crops and you are unableto pick them up so they just float around.

I found this ghost potato in 14w21b. I threw another potato at it and the ghost one vanished, leaving just the one I threw. (I'm certain that it's from villagers.)
I had the same thing but with bread. I see some random bread on the ground, I look away for five seconds, and when I look back they're gone.
