Destroying Block - Screen turns orange

Sometimes, when i Dig blocks like dirt, a orange box shows up filling half of the screen, and getting bigger as i dig. This is the first time this happended.

Java 8 is only in development builds and not even a supported release by Oracle so far. Use Java 1.7.0_51 to start with.

As mentioned please use Java 7 (1.7) as minecraft is not supported under Java 8 (1.8)
