If Change the Language(PT-BR Tested) The Stone Block(Not Cobblestone)
Not Change of Name

At PT-BR Language, Instead of be Called "Pedra" Are Called Stone
But Still Stone Silverfish Egg Are Renamed
Is Like Sand And Dirt in 1.6

Confirmed in French. Due to the addition of Granite, Andesite and Diorite blocks that have the same ID as the stone but not the same damage value.

This doesn't seem like a bug. As far as I know, the updated language file has not been pushed to the translation site for localization yet, and will not be until the feature set for 1.8 is more solidified.

As a test to see if this is the case, try manually adding "tile.stone.stone.name=Pedra" to your .lang file and see if it fixes the issue.

no, it was since the adition of the other types, previously it was tile.stone.name now it's tile.stone.stone.name the lang files only update with the official release of an update
