It appears that the player, when in the bed, is about 2 blocks higher than it should be.

I can confirm that this is happening.

I'm also having this happen.

I can confirm this too. The viewpoint while sleeping is one block higher than standing on the bed.

Happens to me as well. I first noticed it in 14w07, but it still happens in 14w08

still on going in Minecraft 14w08a and also see through terrain

Yes, still present from the 06b to now.
And noclip too

Still present in Pre1.8 but i dont notice Noclip.

This issue is fixed, what you see is MC-55388
