[MC-47706] Barriers create shadows glitches when the world is updated

When you exit the game and open again a world that have barriers it seems that the old light glitch is showing.
:info: Steps to reproduce:

Place a lot of barriers over a construction.
Exit the game.
Open again the game and the world.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w20b / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

This glitch is also in 1.8-pre2 and 1.8-pre3 I am using launcher 1.5.2

Confirmed for 1.8.7 and 1.8.8. When going into the bugged area a diamond shape with a radius of 12 blocks fixes itself.
