[MC-48885] Minecraft Launcher will not start game

downloaded demo , played well. changed mojang password stopped working, bought full version . same problem. re-downloaded minecraft and java. still not working. I've attached an error log for reference.

The Intel 4 Series (and older) video cards are unable to play 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions.
For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game. To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.

I tried running 1.7.2 but with no change. I was playing the demo without issue prior to the password change. Perhaps this is a coincidence. I did have to change the driver I was using for the q35 chipset as it didn't support openGL.
