Invisible Textures in Snapshots while using AMD Drivers

On versions such as 1.7.2, 1.7.4, and Snapshot 14w06b and below, I recieve no issues whatsoever, but on Snapshots 14w07a and 14w08a, I cannot see most all of the textures in the game. Blocks like cobblestone, logs, slime blocks, water, and lava are visible but stone, dirt, granite, etc. are not. I have installed the drivers, and made sure the Mipmapping and Anistropic Filtering are off. It has randomly begun working 3 times now and I have no idea why. Here is my crash report when I force it:

Works fine on 1.7.4, starts with 14w07a. DB already said that there were major changes.
Is this would be correct and won't be fixed, a lot of cards get unsupported, raising the minimum system requirements to the level of 2009 (AMD Radeon HD 5xxx), while older Nvidia's are still supported well.

Humm... this is very strange, I cannot see anything strange about that crash report, this has not happened to me or anyone I know with AMD graphics cards. You're definatly not using an incompatible resource pack are you? Does the same bug happen on other worlds or multiplayer? You could try deleting the latest snapshot and re-downloading it, on windows the directory is %appdata%\.minecraft\versions\ On mac the directory is
/Macintosh HD/Users/<Username>/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions/ (I don't know which way the "/" goes on a mac)
Other than that, I do not know what to say about it.
Hope this helped.

Charlie, there is some background to it.
The probably affected series are AMD Radeon HD 2xxx, 3xxx and 4xxx, at least that is what we believe. No ressource pack, happens on both SP and MP. Redownloading didn't work.
(Yes, we chatted with the creator of this issue and said that he should create this (well, Dinnerbone told us to tell him to create one) so that MogMiner can look into it.)

Bug is invalid, it has nothing to do with Minecraft and everything to do with a bug in AMD's beta 14.1 Catalyst drivers. Incidentally, mentioning that you're running beta drivers would have been useful to mention in the bug report since it does not happen with the stock, non-BETA - emphasis on BETA - drivers.

In addition, we have been in contact with AMD and they have stated to us that they already have the issue fixed on their end and the next version of their drivers will not cause this issue (though they have not made clear whether they'll be putting out another beta containing the fix).

Incidentally, if this DOES in fact happen without using the beta drivers, it still has nothing to do with us and everything to do with a bug in AMD's drivers. We aren't doing anything to make these textures not appear, and the fact that they work fine on NVidia and Intel hardware is a pretty big red flag that this is due solely to AMD's sometimes-buggy fixed-function OpenGL support. If you want to see the bug fixed, I suggest contacting AMD.
