Yeah ive recently been playing mc for a year and i sometimes join a server and my skin is default and if i re login it still is the default i used a windows 7 and i have java 7 update 10
it works perfectly but once in a while i have to go into the change skin thing to fix it ~samuel Isiah eastman

This is due to either skins being down or your MC didn't download skins right upon startup. This happens all the time and is not really a bug. If you want to see if skins is down go to https://help.mojang.com. If skins are not down try quitting MC, closing your launcher, and re-opening it.
