I am in a single player world that is NOT open to LAN. When I enter my world there is a square area that won't load and I glitch out next to it. Sometimes I even start to lose health. I reloaded the world over and over again and I closed and opened minecraft as well and it still ives me the rendering issue. I will post a couple of pictures as well.

I think I saw something like this back in 1.2.5 on a server, but I have not seen it since.

Hmm... Any suggestions?

Does it resemble the pictures in MC-2545, or can you not see anything in the whole?

I will post a picture of it from above in creative mode.

It would seem to be a duplicate of MC-2545. It's probably that some of the world data for that chuck is corrupted.

How do I fix it?

I personally do not know, but it might be possible to edit the file in MCedit.

Man! I havent used mcedit before only world edit. Okay thanks.

World edit might work too, though I'm really unsure, as I'm not very familiar with either.

okay thanks!

The hole just sort of fixed itself eventually on my server. I saw it multiple times in the same spot, but another player never did. I never opened MCedit or worldedit with that world.

This is called a chunk error, it is when the client fails to receive the chunk info from the server, to fix, re-log.

How do I re-log?

Oh. No I am not on a server I am on single player
