in creative it is still and item it just cannot be crafted

i do not know how to do that, or where to find the screenshots to attach in a file, but i craft it by using 3 pieces of paper; one on top of the other three high in a stack.

oh lol. thanks, i didn't know a update changed the old crafting table since it first came out. It would be awesome if there was some kind of crafting book that was made out of a crafting table and book; that just had all the items in game. I think this would be helpful to avoid this, and make things more creative. Thanks again, and for such a quick response!
