[MC-5161] Wolves/Dogs bouncing in water heavy flashing and Z-fighting

Wolves turn dark the light as they bounce in and out of the water and can also glitch through the ground and have the same effects, only they disappear into the ground.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
