Air chunks

When I go in caves I have explored before, I am finding several "air chunks" (unloaded chunks with nothing in it). Those empty holes are annoying, and I wonder if there are some ways to fix that problem. That is not the first air chunk I have seen in this snapshot. I have created several wolrds in the snapshot and all of them have air chunks somewhere. The old worlds did not have that problem. I wonder if it is some way to solve that problem.
