Far Lands Are Still Visible On Maps - Past the 30,000,000 Mark

Even though Far Lands don't show up in the real world, creating a map and looking at the map will show Far Lands terrain.

The picture taken is at the corner far lands.

Can confirm for 14w18a. Note: Far Lands don't exist anymore.

Added better screenshot.

I think, this is an intended behaviour (The world isnt "cut" at the edge).

The world is in fact cut at 30 Mio blocks, see my screenshot. The trees visible on the map and in the world are at the 30 Mio border, after that, no terrain is generated, but shown on the map.

This is because the world beyond the far lands is still generated beyond the wall, it's just not rendered. However rendering from the map comes straight from the map-generation/decoration code.

The far lands are meant to be hard to get to anyway so there really would be no need to fix this bug. The bug, I believe, will be unfixable with the current engine. If maps were to use rendering data they would be incredibly laggy, I think.

Confirmed for 14w19a.

There is no reason to "fix" this.
