[MC-53603] Barrier bug

Help mojang!!! if i place a barrier (minecraft:barrier) I see the skin

It is supposed to do this. Switch to a different item to hide texture.

Yeah, it is intended. They do that so you can find the barriers by holding the barrier item.

I had a similar bug, except even when I wasn't holding a barrier I could still see the barriers.

Ella, did you have the barrier in the hotbar? As long as it's in your inventory the barrier should show.
