What I expected to happen was...:
Typing the command /playsound random.classic_hurt <username> would play the classic hurt sound.
What actually happened was...:
Instead, It didn't play any sound even though the location of the file is correct and the command syntax is correct.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create or join a world with cheats enabled.
2. Type /playsound random.classic_hurt
3. The sound will not play.
4. Outputs error to development console in launcher (see playsound error.txt)

Look in the sounds folder. In the folder random there is a file named classic_hurt.ogg. You used to be able to play it with the /playsound command and now you can't. Seems like a bug to me.
Look at http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Sounds.json for available sound events.
