Double plants are gray in 8x8 packs

I've created a texture pack, which I first uploaded in 14w10a and which is using 8x8 textures.

Until 14w11b everything seemed to be alright, but as soon as 14w17a was released, the textures of redstone were facing the wrong way and double plants lost their color.

I fixed the problem with the redstone by rotating the texture, but even though 14w18b was already released, double plants have no biome color.
They appear as grey, as the texture in the resource pack.

Broken resource pack. Please switch to the default resource pack, and see if it occurs there.

It works in any resource pack, in any size...but not in my 8x8 resource pack.
Besides that, it worked until 14w17a was released, so I don't see how my resource pack is broken.

Well, your resource pack isn't really broken, but the snapshot broke your resource pack.

That's the way the snapshots (=alpha prerelease test version) works. Things change. You have to adapt your resource pack to the snapshot.

Still nobody seems to understand it.
It is in actualy bug, due to the fact, that the textures in my pack have the same structure as in every other resource pack, that's working.
The double plant textures are just as gray, as the textures in the default pack.
They are saved in two files aswell and have the same names as in the default pack.

That actually means, that there is absolutely no way to change that directly in the resource pack, because it IS an actualy bug!

Does really NO ONE get, that it IS an actual bug, which doesn't depend on the resource pack?
Couldn't you all just stop giving me shitty advices for changing the resource pack, instead of just accepting, that the problem came with the latest snapshots?

1. The structure of textures wasn't changed for double plants in 14w17, but the textures lost their color anyway!
2. Any 16x16+ placks are NOT affected, even though their textures are saved the same way/have the same structure!

Is it REALLY so hard to get, that this is an actualy bug?!

Honestly, the longer I think about this bug, the weirder it becomes.
It clearly is a bug, but it is caused by something else in 8x8 packs, not by the double plants themselves.
When I use the double grass over the default textures, everything works correctly, but as soon as I use it over my own texture pack (which is 8x8) it stops working again.

(I didn't edit the colormap, so don't try to tell me that's the problem)

Stop telling me, my resource pack is wrong and tell me WHAT EXACTLY is wrong.

Stop annoying.
This here is a bug tracker and no help forum.
