Leaves and pillars make X-ray

I was Creating the spawn for my server and i had an idea of placing leaves on the quartz pillar and it started looking nice but then i noticed that from certain angles you could see trough the pillar outside
What I expected to happen was...:
I expected the leaves to look nice and blend with the pillars
What actually happened was...:
From certain angles you could see through the pillars just like if you were xraying

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the End
2. Make a pillar quartz wall (pillars must be going upwards)
3. Place Leaves
4. Give yourself some distance
5. Pay close attention were the leaves meet
