When trying to repair named items, their repair costs rise exponentially according to the previous number of repairs, no matter what they are repaired with (similar items, similar renamed items, ingots), which basically negates the purpose of reusing items as well as the cheap repair costs in 1.8. The bug appears in both single- and multiplayer.
