Mobs despawn if transported by portal before PortalCooldown expires

Cannot confirm. Do you have a wall around the nether portal? That could be the issue.

Yes i Do. its up in the air to keep them from falling out. But i confirmed. Mobs and go through portals from the overworld to the nether. But not from the nether to the overworld. try pushing a mob through a portal in the nether to see if they end up in the overworld, to make sure this isnt just me.

Confirmed for 14w20b but only sometimes.

Tested to find the Zombie Pigmen can do go through the portal from the Overworld into the Nether, but when entering the Nether, about 50% of the time, they no longer exist.

Interestingly enough, if they travel through a portal from the Nether to the Overworld, they actually seem to vanish.

And if you send a Pigman through a portal to the Nether, you can't send the same Pigman back. It will walk through the portal texture and never transport.

Found the same result with Zombies, Creepers, Cows.
I assume, this is universal of all mobs then.

Maybe we can clarify the bug title to "Mobs will not transport through Nether Portals properly" or something.

Them Vanishing after you travel is the problem im having. And yes the title is bad i did not know it applied to all mobs

They don't despawn. Maybe they used to, but they don't as of 1.8.

Mobs seems to still despawn when entering a nether portal through the Nether world, while items still go through. Is this a Minecraft bug, or a server issue/plugins? 1.8
