My friends minecraft just on his computer goes xray randomly, sometimes it will work but then it turns xray

Not part of the Mojang team, but it appears that your graphics cards are outdated. What version of Windows are you using, and is it 32 or 64 bit?

I will assume duplicate of MC-35881. You should update your graphics drivers. If that does not resolve the issue, turn off mipmapping and anisotropic filtering in your video settings. See that report for details.

Thanks, I'll do that to try and solve the problem, however modpacks still work
