Movement Speed Attribute not effecting mobs properly.

The "generic.movementSpeed" attribute does not work as intended. On the forums it reads that 0.7 is the default speed. However if increment this by any amount up, it multiplies the effected mob's speed by a large amount.

The command Im using--

/setblock ~ ~1 ~ 52 0 replace {EntityId:Zombie,SpawnData:{Attributes:[{Name:generic.maxHealth,Base:40},{Name:generic.movementSpeed,Base:0.8}],Equipment:[{id:258,tag:{ench:[{id:16,lvl:8},{id:19,lvl:3}]}},{id:310},{id:311},{id:312},{id:57}]}}

Confirmed for 14w21b and 1.7.9

Seems like the default is 0.2
but a zombie with movement speed of 0.1 is defenitly more than twice as slow as a default zombie

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.

Confirmed in 1.8.1. The wiki claims the the default value is 0.69999998807907104, but if you summon in a mob with that speed value, it will move much faster than normal.

Unfortunately, this has already been fixed in 29b (MC-33110), and Mojira doesn't consider the wiki to be a reliable / authorative source.
