slime will not spawn in a superflat world. All I see is the slime trying to spawn but despawn in a blink of an eye. I also tested this on my slime farm. No slime spawned whatsoever.

Always use the search function to make sure you are not posting a duplicate. It makes it a lot easier for the mods to handle, and reduces server storage usage. If nobody had ever posted a duplicate on JIRA, we would probably have 75% of reports storedon the server gone.
