[MC-55681] Unable to open chests until you open and close the menu or the inventory

Put the summary of the bug you're having here
At random moments you can suddenly not open up chests anymore, or sleep in a bed (using right click). You then have to open and close your inventory or the ESC menu to make it work again.

What I expected to happen was...:
Describe what you thought should happen here
chests that would open up.

What actually happened was...:
Describe what happened here
chest remained closed, nothing happened.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Wait and play around, try to open chests, it only happens sometimes.

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.

Do I first have to make sure the bug occurs before I crash the game, or doesn't that matter?

Ok, I will do that. It might take a while as I am studying for exams right now and the bug occurs only every now and then.

Also, I had the same issue in the latest snapshots, just FYI.

I just re-opened my current game and all items I had in my inventory are suddenly gone, as well as all the items in the nearby chests (including the ender chest) as well as all the items in the furnaces nearby... Can I fix this one or another way?!
