[MC-55734] /execute does not work

I was trying the use the execute command and when I give it a redstone signal it just repeats the command

What was the exact command you used?

Confirmed for 14w21b

/execute @p ~ ~ ~ say hi

Works but the command block has as last output just the command

Can't reproduce. Clarify please. Execute works fine on my end.

Works fine.
(Last output is invalid for excecute, but that's another issue)
