Display of skin glitched as well as placed redstone dust display

When I ran minecraft in version 14w21b my skin had changed back to the default steve skin, this is happens a lot though it is not the bug I am reporting. The steve skin had glitched, the textures were in the wrong place and sometimes not even there, like on the side of the head. As well as this redstone that had been placed in a line had flipped 90 degrees though it still had the texture that redstone placed in a line has the redstone still functions as normal however. Please note that the screenshots attached are not of my regular minecraft skin but are of the glitched steve skin. Upon relogging my skin went back to normal though the redstone did not change (even when the blocks around it were updated). Placing redstone results in the same glitch, but not when the redstone goes around a corner
