In the newest snapshot, 14w21b, slimes are not spawning in the swamp biome, no matter what the difficulty is set to.

Slimes are not spawning in the swamp biome.

I expected slimes to spawn.

Go to a swamp and cycle the difficulties, and notice how no slimes will spawn.
