3D model blocks are bugged in 14w25a (block model format changed)

I made a very public post on Reddit explaining that the block model format was going to be changing. Go get ahold of the authors of the models and tell them to update, this isn't a bug.

Can someone post a link to this article? I would like to update my texture pack, but am not familiar with reddit

Ugh, this is gibberish to me (I'm not a coder, tried that once...); how is the block model change affecting the item textures? I have translated the German article and read the reference link bringing me to Dinnerbone's reddit page thing. Confusing stuff; I just would like to know how to fix the textures of the items.

Just click the "basic conversion guide" button at the top of the opening post. It is a little complicated, but I'm not sure there's any way to make it less so.
