The Bug:
Items don't smelt when summoning furnaces with smeltable items and fuel already inside them.
Prior to 1.7.4, this issue did not occur.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a furnace that has items already inside of it by using the command provided below.
/setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:furnace{Items:[{id:"minecraft:beef",Slot:0,Count:5},{id:"minecraft:coal",Slot:1,Count:64}]}Open the furnace and look at the beef within it.
Take note as to whether or not items smelt when summoning furnaces with smeltable items and fuel already inside them.
Observed Behavior:
Items don't smelt.
Expected Behavior:
Items would smelt.

I am able to confirm this behavior in 21w41a. Here are some extra details regarding this problem.

Avoma
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
