Water with lava texture when using resource pack i tried using the pack in 1.7.9 as well and then it was using the resource packs water texture for wter :water using incorrect texture form resource pack

i was using a resource pack in 14w25a placed down water thought it would be water but...
I was using a resource pack in 14w25a placed down water and it was using the lava texture tried repeating the process in 1.7.9 and the water was using the resource pack's water texture also tried this with no resource pack in 14w25a and the water had water texture.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get the Sphax PureBDcraft pack [MC 1.7.4] Resource pack.
2. check it to make sure it has a correct water and lava texture.
3. place down water in 1.7.9 while using the Resource pack.
4. switch to 14w25a and look at the water in that world
