In the last snapshot there was a handy feature, that if you spawned an item with a custom name, it showed up above it. I hope it's only a bug, and this feature didn't get deleted!
We reconstructed the tp room, so please bring it back! 😞

Add the NBT tag CustomNameVisible:true to the item and see if it works (it did for me).
